John Lab is a Paris born musician, producer and DJ. Growing up, he discovered a wide range of musical genres, all of which have helped develop his passion for musical composition and production. After playing guitar in a band with friends as a young teen, his focus shifted to electronic music, influenced by artists such as Daft Punk, Four Tet and deadmau5.

In his early years as a music producer, John Lab worked on several high profile projects for EDM artists such as Lost Frequencies, Nervo, NDPC and Bodalia. This led to him contributing to releases with Sony Global, Ministry of Sound, Ultra Music, and more.

Following this, he decided to work on his own material and began releasing multiple singles that showcased his love for a wide range of electronic music styles. Amongst these releases, tracks such as Alpha and Lockdown helped set the foundations for what would become his first album.
